Another Coroner's Vaccine is being Approved in Canada

The estrogen vaccine is about to be approved as the third coronavirus vaccine in Canada. Health officials have indicated that it will not take long for the fourth vaccine to be approved.

Eric Morrisette, chief public relations officer for Health Canada, said the committee had been reviewing AstraZeneca's application since October 1 last year. They are now awaiting a final report on the production process from AstraZeneca before approval.

Health Canada Chief Medical Adviser. Supriya Sharma said it was a bit complicated to review as some volunteers in the trial took half a dose of AstraZeneca.

Although a large-scale trial has been held in the UK since then, Morrisette said the results of the trial will not be available until March this year. But Health Canada seems to need all the clinical data.

Meanwhile, the issue of approval of the fourth vaccine has also come to the fore after the announcement of the results of the third phase of the Johnson & Johnson clinical trial. Johnson & Johnson submitted an application to Health Canada on November 30 seeking approval for a single dose of the vaccine.

It is to be noted that vaccination has started in Canada from December 14 last year. Front-line health workers, long-term care home residents and staff are getting vaccinated earlier.

On the other hand, the government has assured that it will be possible to vaccinate everyone against coronavirus by next September. And by the end of March, three crore citizens will be vaccinated. One million more Canadians will be vaccinated by the end of June.

According to the latest data, the number of people infected with coronavirus in Canada is eight lakh 34 thousand 162 people, 21 thousand 435 people have died and seven lakh 69 thousand 71 people have recovered.
