10 Countries Occupy 75% of the Corona Vaccine: UN

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said 130 countries had not yet received a single dose of the coronavirus.

At a high-level meeting of the UN Secretary-General's Council on Wednesday, Guterres called the vaccine distribution "wildly unequal and immoral."


He says vaccine equality is the biggest moral test in front of the world at this difficult time. He called for an urgent global vaccination program to ensure equal access to vaccines.


The UN meeting also discussed steps to be taken against unequal distribution of vaccines.


After the declaration of corona as a global epidemic, several countries rushed to get the vaccine. The then US President Donald Trump tried to buy most of the vaccines for his country in advance. Then Britain, Italy, Spain, Brazil took similar steps.


The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine is being supplied to Asia by the Seram Institute of India. Bangladesh got the vaccine by contacting them in advance.
